So after having a very successful day fishing yesterday I decided to call up my buddy Mike and give it a try again today. We decided to try to hit the same time frame and tides today as I did yesterday.
Well, it started out the exact same way that it did yesterday. One tiny pinfish after another was coming over the rail. Then all of a sudden the Flounder bonanza happened. Myself, Mike and just about everybody else on the pier got into a few large flounder.
They ranged from 17” up to about 25”. I caught 2 in the 20” range and Mike caught one in the 24” range.
After the flounder stopped biting I caught a 19” redfish and Mike followed that up with a just under slot red.
What a fun day!
