I went out to the sunglow pier today to try my luck. I arrived just before sunrise to find the small blue fish in a very agressive mood.
I put a Rattle Trap on as a lure and the Bluefish where so aggressive that I would sometimes land 2 at a time:
After the sun came up things settled down. I was able to pull a few nice sized whiting out of the surf and one black drum. All-in-All, not a bad way to spend a day!
