The FWC has proposed a change in the bag limit regulations for Redfish, but this change would only affect North Florida.
On the Atlantic Coast from Flagler County north and on the Gulf Coast from Pasco County north the bag limit may be changed to 2 fish per day per angler. This change has be proposed based on studies the FWC has done and found that large populations of slot size fish exist in northern Florida and their harvest will not negatively affect the population.
What are your thoughts on the possible 2 fish bag limit?
