After the extremely cold winter this year that killed many Snook the FWC closed harvesting. The closure has been extended to at least September 16th.
While the closure is in effect, the Snook fishing in some areas is still pretty strong. A friend of mine hired a guide in Jupiter inlet and was able to catch 270 Snook over 5 days between him and 5 friends!
