Today I spent the day fishing from a dock on the Inter Coastal Waterway Just north of Ponce Inlet. I did not have a specific target in mind, this trip was more about hanging out and relaxing!
I arrived at the dock just before sunrise with 50 live shrimp and 50 fiddler crabs. The plan was to free line the shrimp and to chase Sheepshead with the crabs.
I was able to catch 12 Sheepshead (all but one undersized), 4 Mangrove Snappers, 1 blue fish and a very small redfish (about 13”). The only fish with any size was a Bonnethead shark that put up a pretty good fight on a medium light action rig!
